Whilst many whiskies take their flavour from one cask, Grant’s Triple Wood Smoky Whisky is aged in three distinct woods. Brian Kinsman, the Master Blender, expertly chooses malt and grain whiskies to mature in selected woods, leaning on our Triple Wood blend. This expression is distinguished with the addition of peated whiskies for a subtle smokiness and a smooth, fruity taste.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Subtle notes of fruit mix with toasted almonds and malted oats, blended with a distinct smoky aroma
Taste: Smokiness, followed with a hint of citrus and sweet fruitiness
Finish: The distinct smokiness returns with a velvety smoothness and a touch of dry tannin
