Stewart MBE. Batch 8 is the latest and final release from the TUN 1509 series, an exclusive marriage of 18 hand-selected casks of The Balvenie's most rare and precious stocks. It continues the legacy of the highly collectable Tun ranges.
This particular edition is bottled at 52.2% ABV and brings to life David Stewart MBE’s 59-years’ worth of experience and art of whisky stock management. His lifelong dedication to exceptional whisky-making is encapsulated in Tun 1509 Batch 8, an expression of exemplary quality and character boasting rich and complex flavour notes.
The Balvenie Distillery is dedicated to the traditions, care and craftsmanship of malt whisky-making and has been owned and managed by the same independent family for five generations.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Citrus notes hint at decadent orange marmalade and maple syrup.
Taste: Discover layers of rich complexity. Lashings of buttery vanilla and sticky toffee combine with swirls of honey to form the perfect sip.
Finish: Sweet with a gently spiced ginger finish.
